2. Services Offered
We provide residential, commercial, and industrial construction cost estimation services. Services may include:
- Quantity takeoffs
- Cost estimates and budget reports
- Bills of Quantities
- Tendering and bidding support
- Ongoing cost control and consultation
All services are subject to scope agreements made between Vertex Estimation and the client.
3. Quotes and Payment
- All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are quoted in GBP (£) and exclude VAT (if applicable).
- Payment terms must be agreed upon before work begins.
- Projects may be subject to upfront or milestone-based payments.
- Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide clear, complete, and accurate project information, including but not limited to:
- Drawings, specifications, and scope of work
- Required timelines
- Relevant contacts for project updates
Vertex Estimation is not liable for delays or inaccuracies resulting from incomplete or incorrect client data.
5. Accuracy Guarantee
We aim to deliver cost estimates with up to 98% accuracy based on the information provided.
However, estimates are not fixed prices or final tenders. They are advisory tools based on current market rates and assumptions.
6. Revisions and Corrections
Clients may request reasonable revisions within 7 days of delivery. Any changes beyond the original scope may be subject to additional charges.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
- Projects cancelled before work begins may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
- If work has commenced, only the unused portion of the project fee may be refunded.
- We offer a money-back guarantee if our error exceeds the accuracy threshold based on verifiable third-party pricing.
8. Intellectual Property
All documents, reports, and estimates provided remain the intellectual property of Vertex Estimation unless otherwise agreed. You may use them for internal project purposes but may not resell, distribute, or reproduce them without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Vertex Estimation is not liable for:
- Project cost overruns due to market volatility, design changes, or incomplete drawings
- Delays caused by external contractors, suppliers, or client-side actions
- Any indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or project delays
Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the service in question.
10. Confidentiality
We treat all project information with strict confidentiality and will not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
11. Website Usage
You agree not to:
- Use our site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website
- Copy or redistribute content without permission
We reserve the right to suspend or block users who misuse the site.
12. Governing Law
